Returns Policy

 

At Costello Pharmacy we want you to be 100% confident while purchasing online, please take time to read the below returns policy and terms and conditions of sale prior to purchasing. Our Returns Policy does not affect your statutory rights.

If the product you purchased does not fit your needs or requirements, please notify us within 14 days of receiving your order either by emailing us at info@costellopharmacy.ie or by telephone on 0667121075. A copy of the original order docket must accompany the return.
Returns can be made directly to us instore at Costello Pharmacy as long as it satisfies our returns conditions.
If you return any product outside of the returns period, we reserve the right not to offer a refund, partial or in full.

Fair usage of returns policy:
In order to return items, the product must still have its original packaging and be in an un-used condition, and unworn. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase. For safety reasons there are no exchanges/ returns on medicinal products. As per the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland guidance a pharmacy is not legally permitted to sell or supply a previously supplied medicinal product.

For health protection and hygiene reasons there are no exchanges/returns for certain medical or personal care items such as – commodes, toilet seats and frames, toileting aids, bathing aids – such as bathing cushions, underwear, incontinence wear, gloves, compression stockings etc. Any product with a hygiene or security seal that has been broken will not be accepted for return.

Wheelchairs and mobility aids must be returned in an “as new” condition, including all packaging in order to receive a refund. Please ensure the wheelchair or mobility aid is suitable before using it for transport as once the tyres demonstrate usage they cannot be refunded.

In circumstances where products require assembly, products must be carefully dissembled and repackaged before returning the items to us.
Bespoke, personalised or custom-made items to customer requirements may not be exchanged for any reason other than goods being defective as these are not regular store items and are not eligible for re-sale.
Unfortunately, we can not accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Returning Unwanted Items:
On receiving your order, should you wish to return your purchase, you have 14 days to notify us of your intent to return the order to us, either by emailing us at info@costellopharmacy.ie or by telephone on 0667121075. Items returned without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
You will have a further 5 working days for the order to arrive back here with us for a refund on the price of the product. A copy of the original order docket must accompany the return. We will notify you once a return has been received and inspected, to inform you a refund has been approved and processed. You can normally expect the refund to appear in your account withing 5 working days. However, depending on your bank and/or credit card provider, this may sometimes vary.

Returns can be made directly to us instore at Costello Pharmacy for return or exchange as long as it satisfies our returns conditions. Please ensure to email or telephone to inform us of your intent to return an item before presenting instore. Any orders placed on the website will be refunded through the website via the payment method you used, please allow 5 working days for this to be processed. However, depending on your bank and/or credit card provider, this may sometimes vary.

A copy of the original order docket must accompany the product to identify the order, along with the issued returns code for identification to allow us to process your return in a timely manner.

Refunds will be made via the same payment method used to place the order, so if you pay by credit card the refund will be refunded to your credit card. Any orders placed on the website will be refunded through the website via the payment method you used.

The cost of returning unwanted items is at your expense and as we do not currently offer a collection service you should use your own carrier. We recommend that you use a carrier who can give you a “Proof of Posting”, as until the parcel is received by us at the address below, it will remain your responsibility. Alternatively, you can return your order directly to us instore at Costello Pharmacy.

Returning Damaged Items:
At Costello Pharmacy we want you to be 100% confident while purchasing online. Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately, within 24 hours of receipt, if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the incorrect item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right, by replacing the product or issuing a full refund. You can contact us by either emailing info@costellopharmacy.ie or by telephone on 0667121075. Items returned without first requesting a return will not be accepted. A copy of the original order docket must accompany the return.

In such instances, we will pay the cost of returning the products. Refunds will be processed using the original purchase payment method used. You can normally expect the refund to appear in your account withing 5 working days. However, depending on your bank and/or credit card provider, this may sometimes vary.

Exchanges:
We normally only offer exchanges on damaged or defective goods. If you wish to exchange your purchase for another product, it is best to return your purchase as per our returns policy and process a new order for the product you would like.
